Busy Bees

We had an amazing weekend filled with family, friends, food, and fun….oh and a little bit of fame!  We had our friends, Emily and Carlos’ wedding on Saturday (after I spent the morning shopping). The wedding was beautiful and we sure enjoyed it. We picked our little guy up afterward and stayed up watching a movie…into the early wee hours of the morning. Sunday, I was able to meet up with one of my very dearest friends, Jackie (all the way from L.A.) for a super-long girls’ lunch.  I am so honored to announce, she has chosen me to stand by her side at her wedding this summer!  It’s going to be GRAND (you’ll be hearing more about this….I can’t wait).  Sunday night, Scott had practice and Nealy came home ( & had a couple of neighbors over).  The kids and I played, lounged, & ate some pizza.  Once my honey arrived home, we stayed up late watching a movie (finishing the one we started Saturday night).  Boy was I tired come this morning when my alarm went off at 5:30 to go to the gym. The best part of the morning was after our workout my sweet friends, Aspen and Mike sat at Starbuck’s with me to chat.  We sipped on our fave drinks and ate healthy munchies for breakfast.  I arrived home (bringing my two boys and my mini me breakfast), to hear Scott’s idea to do a little more shopping, get B’s hair cut, and pick up lunch.  Okay sure! In the afternoon Brayden rode his John Deere tractor a bit and literally ran around the block with Dadee.  Nealy and I watch a little more of the tube (yeah, at this point we were a little lazy).  Now, I am catching up on some overdue blogging.  I am looking forward to dinner with my family and snuggling on the couch before we, busy bees start our week!

The Big Boy’s New ‘Do

Now can I just say, I LOVE his hair long and crazy.  I do!  He has amazingly thick and shiny hair.  So…why not?  It was getting a little poofy I suppose…so I hesitantly agreed to get it trimmed and thinned but, NOT cut.  We kept it long (over his ears…call me crazy but, I love this look), and had some cool-long layers cut in the front with some texturing!  He looks GREAT!
