Brayden James' 2nd annual birthday party was just perfect! The weather was nice and warm. It was late enough in the afternoon that the sun wasn't directly overhead and there was a nice little breeze. We congregated under a pavilion (when we weren't splashing in the pool) and enjoyed family and friends. It was wonderful. Best of all? Our terrific (two year old tomorrow) tot had SUCH a JOYOUS time! He couldn't have been happier! He was so excited to see his cake. He wanted to show everyone and he didn't want to leave it. We finally let him take off Lightening McQueen and Mater. He just thought it was the coolest thing. He kept saying, "Yightening McQueen and May-dor....my cake." AND "the number TWO." He was referring to the candle on the cake. All the kids had a great time swimming and playing in the water park. It was so nice to have a fun summer activity for them...it kept them nice and cool in the process.
