Finally meeting LJ Carroll!

This past Saturday Brayden and I met my super cute and hysterically funny friend, Cara AND her adorable son, Landon for lunch. We went to the Flying Fish (one of my favorite places). We had a lot of catching up to do. We chatted about school (Cara teaches kindergarten too) and typical "mommy" things. Cara and I have seen each other a couple of times since the boys were born, but as time and schedules would have it, we hadn't seen each others sweet boys other than on the blogs. So, needless to say I was so thrilled to finally meet Landon John. He and Brayden are only 3 days apart. Landon is such a little man full of personality and energy. Brayden really warmed up to him and our boys played SO well together. Landon offered food to Brayden...wait, I think Brayden stole some of Landon's food. Yikes! Oh, and Brayden loved Landon so much that he offered him his sippy cup several times. It was really cute watching them play and interact with each other.

After lunch we headed off to the play area right there at Firewheel. BUT, not before we made a quick stop at Starbucks for some yummy iced tea!!! Does that surprise you? Anyway, going to the park gave us girls more time to talk and catch up as we watched our little boys play away. I have to say, it was a super fun time. The play area is fenced in and it brought a little comfort knowing our two couldn't escape. It really is a pefect little play area for toddlers.

Well, we weren't quite ready to call it a day, so we did a tad bit of shopping afterward...well, more of what you would call "window shopping." Our boys were well behaved and so sweet. Brayden actually fell asleep in the stroller on the way back to the car and slept all the way home. He had a great time indeed! We both did!!!

It was so great to finally meet you Landon. You are such a blue eyed cutie. We really enjoyed seeing you and mommy. We are holding you to a football game in a couple of weeks! Thanks for making time for us. Can't wait to see and play with you again! Tell mommy 'thank you' for the beautiful pictures.
